Brought on as Marketing Director to handle all print and web advertising, public relations for the firm, events both public and internal as well as managing and overseeing all safety training sessions. Within a year, engineered and managed full e-commerce capability project for three entities (Safety Systems Hawaii, One Shot Supplies and Brandy Signs) contained in a single, customized software package. Management of internal and external resources while performing low-level server configurations and Java development. In 2006, the e-commerce platform was unveiled at the Governor’s Pacific Rim Safety Conference.
Fast growth of the site proved to be a strain on the customized software resulting in editorial content being split into a new CMS while the e-commerce software was fully updated. This went live with the 2010 Governor’s Pacific Rim Safety Conference.

Full integration with internal systems began which resulted in merging with the IT department in the capacity of help desk. Eventually, all internet projects were outsourced.

Also shopped around and purchased new workstations for all editorial, sales and some of the administrative staff using Macintosh computers. Administered several Macintosh computers configured as servers for services such as network printing, network faxing, network email, internet access and FileMaker Pro database system. Initialized and maintained backup strategies for all departments on Macintosh network.

While the brand and domain is the longest running MMO community site, it has gone through many ownership changes which lead in a change of direction several times and an overall loss in identity. This radical change from expansion to consolidation meant a change in direction for the entire volunteer team. The announcement was made in March, 2015. During this period, Stratics proudly served as a conduit for a career path in gaming by providing volunteer and paid staff members an opportunity to gain experience as artists, writers, coders, and community managers for a major gaming network in anticipation of eventual careers within the gaming industry.
